Book Covers (Personal Project)

"They say you can't judge a book by it's cover. If the designer has done their job, you should absolutely be able to do this." - Craig Ward
Marcus Aurelius - Meditiations is one of the books I recently purchased. Unimpressed by the sleeve design of my copy, I set about designing a new cover.
After some time working on different ideas I finally settled on a design I liked. After completing the cover I was curious to see if the graphical style would transfer well onto other book covers...
Redesigning the cover for Hemingway's The Old Man and the Sea was more of a design experiment than a necessity, although it reassured me that the graphical style of the book covers could be applied to a number of other books.
I may start building my own collection of redesigned classics. Maybe I should read them first, though.
